Madame speaks for herself! His dolls are a new take on Cinderella....take a scrap of cloth toss in some magical words and a goddess appears! No frumpy ratty clothes for his dolls...glitter gems and sparkle!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1253664013241570361.post-76087927497676188642007-11-10T15:02:00.000-09:002007-11-10T15:02:00.000-09:00I've only made one of Arley's patterns which was M...I've only made one of Arley's patterns which was Madame and I have to say it was not difficult at all. I was a little daunted to begin with, but have to say that the pattern and the instructions were just a breeze to follow. Full of wonderful tips and additional information. I raved so much about the pattern many of my fellow doll club members had to go buy one too. Thank you for a wonderful doll experience.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1253664013241570361.post-18263744821104724872007-10-30T18:39:00.000-08:002007-10-30T18:39:00.000-08:00I have made two of Arley's patterns up - Madame an...I have made two of Arley's patterns up - Madame and The Art Deco Tassel Doll. Madame is a stump doll but the way the pattern is drafted gives her a wonderfully curvaceous shape. The body pieces went together very easily. I thought it was a terrific pattern.

The Tassel Doll was fairly quick to make up and again the instructions and pattern pieces went together well. The beauty in this doll is in the scope for embellishing. Arley gives several different approaches to beading the doll and also some background on the Art Deco period and Erte the famous designer of the period.Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03995371891984293024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1253664013241570361.post-43930653882801159642007-10-29T19:27:00.000-08:002007-10-29T19:27:00.000-08:00Premier designer.
